Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been out of touch. Since the Tour ended I've been back in Girona moving into my new pad. I've lived in the same apartment in Girona for almost 7 years so moving was a big job considering that I had three closets full of clothes from mad shopping sprees over the years to move. In addition to moving I've been hanging out with the boys and enjoying some of the finer things in Girona. My legs were not so special last weekend in Hamburg and I was a little bit disappointed since I've done well there before and it's a race that I know I can win. However, this weekend in San Sebastian I have something to prove after crashing out last year in the final. The final in San Sebastian suits my abilities well and if I come to the line in a small group, I'm confident I'll be standing on the top podium.

So, let me know if you like this blog...check out my official web site at www.georgehincapie.com and sign my guestbook. If you have some questions, I'll try to answer them here.

Ok, wish me luck for this weekend and I'll holler at you soon

Here are some photos from the dinner after the TT. Even though we still had to get through the final stage in Paris in one piece...we started celebrating a little early with a few beers. Helps the recovery..right?

The last photo is of Eki and I in our new kit that Nike made for the team to wear in the final stage of the Tour De France. The entire day was like a party and we were on such a high since the Tour had been so stressful this year. Even Lance was laughing all the time.

I need a few days to chill out after the Tour. I'm back in Girona now getting ready for next weekends World Cup in Hamburg Germany. It sure is nice to sleep in and surf on the internet with out a start line in the day.

So, stay tuned as I'm going to keep this blog going and update it with funny stories, race updates, and pictures.

thanks for reading,

Hi everyone....

So today is the day Lance will win the Tour De France. Everyone has been asking what's going to happen on the last day if the time difference is small between Lance and Jan. People want to know if they'll sprint for the time bonuses....so let me just tell you right now that the difference between Lance and Jan will be big enough going in to Paris that we'll be drinking champagne all the way. Yah...that's right Lance is going to stomp in the TT. How do I know? Well, when Lance says he's going to win...that's all I need to know.

Ok, I'll check back with you after the TT to let you know what kind of ice cream and beer we'll be having tonight to start the celebration.

Hello from the team bus.

So we had a great day yesterday and today since we didn't have to do too much work. I was really stoked to see Tyler win yesterday. We were all talking about how crazy he was but as the stage went on we realized he might actually pull it off. I used to live with Tyler and we've been great friends for a long time so when he wins we all actually share the glory.

Check out these shots from inside the team bus. We're chilling on the way home from the stage on our way to the hotel. As you can see the team morale is high and we're all kickin it with our iPods.

One thing is for sure though...the tour isn't over yet and we have some serious hard days coming up. The flat/rolling stages can be brutal when we're trying to control everyone from attacking us...which they do from the zero K banner. The first hour is hell until the right break gets established and then we just start grinding away at the front. Saturday is the real test and I can tell you that Lance is so focused and so serious that he's going to tear up the pavement in the TT.

Ok, check out the digis and I'll holler at you tomorrow.

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog for the Tour de France. Today we're having the second rest day so I took some time to finally get this thing up and running. First, a huge thanks to Blogger for hooking me up with this. I have a cool camera phone that I'm going to use to upload images to my blog. This technology is way over the top. I'm in France using a Spanish account and sending pictures to my blog in the US. Crazy.

Anyway, the Tour has been the most exciting tour I've ever done and if Lance wins this one it will for sure be the best victory we have ever had. Lance is really motivated and super psyched to be "back". He came into the bus after the stage yesterday on fire yelling "who's back in the house!!!!". It was a great boost for all of us to see Lance so confident. We've been on pins and needles for the last few weeks. There are still two rolling days which are the hardest for me since I have to ride on the front all day. Then there is the final test for the yellow jersey on Friday...the final TT.

I'm happy to report that I feel really good and I'm totally over my illness that I suffered through during the spring. It's good to be back and good to be part of this tour team.

Ok, back to resting...I'll upload some photos later today...
thanks for reading and be sure to check out the tour coverage at LanceArmstrong.com also.
